In accordance with the guidelines of the Government, UGC, and the institution’s commitment to safeguarding the rights and interests of Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) students and employees

Objectives
  1. To safeguard the interests of SC/ST students and employees.
  2. To ensure protection against discrimination and harassment on the basis of caste.
  3. To promote an inclusive and equitable academic environment.
  4. To address grievances and complaints related to SC/ST matters.
  5. To create awareness regarding constitutional safeguards and welfare schemes available to SC/ST communities.
Functions of the Committee
  • Receive and address complaints from SC/ST students and staff.
  • Monitor the implementation of reservation policies and government guidelines.
  • Organize awareness programs, workshops, and seminars on SC/ST welfare.
  • Recommend corrective and preventive measures in cases of discrimination.
  • Maintain records of complaints and actions taken.
  • Coordinate with relevant authorities for effective grievance redressal.
SC/ST Committee Office Order

SC/ST Committee shall be functioning for the objectives of scheduled castes and scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act 1989.
In the institute the cell has been running to project the dignity or any kind of abuse for SC/ST girl candidates.
