In accordance with the provisions of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, the following Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) is hereby constituted to prevent and redress complaints of sexual harassment and to promote a safe and secure environment for all women employees and students.

Objectives
  1. To prevent sexual harassment at the workplace and within the institution.
  2. To provide a safe, secure, and gender-sensitive environment for employees and students.
  3. To address complaints of sexual harassment promptly, fairly, and confidentially.
  4. To create awareness regarding the rights and responsibilities under the POSH Act, 2013.
  5. To promote gender equality and dignity in the institution.
Functions of the Committee
  • Receive and inquire into complaints of sexual harassment.
  • Conduct investigations in a fair, impartial, and confidential manner.
  • Recommend appropriate action based on the findings of the inquiry.
  • Organize awareness programs, workshops, and sensitization activities.
  • Ensure compliance with the provisions of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, 2013.
  • Maintain records of complaints, inquiries, and actions taken.
Complaint Procedure
  • A written complaint may be submitted to the ICC within the prescribed time limit under the applicable rules.
  • The Committee shall conduct an inquiry in accordance with the provisions of the POSH Act, 2013.
  • Confidentiality of the complainant, respondent, and proceedings shall be maintained at all stages.
  • Appropriate recommendations shall be submitted to the competent authority for necessary action.
